Oak forest is estimated to be 140-170 years old and occupies a 5 squared hectare space. Forest is considered to be a vital park of the National Park as many rare species of animals and plants reside here. Lack of human intervention has lead this oak forest to develop a natural look and feel of an olden, untouched place. The presence of old oak trees made life beneath the leaves fairly difficult, various bushes and moss have adapted to reduction in sunlight.

Unique nature of the forest has attracted exotic, rare species of animals. Flamboyant eagles, black storks, cranes all found their place on the woods, even peace seeking owls and eagle-owls have grown to like old oaks.
